A man accused of carrying out an assault and attempted robbery has been remanded in custody.
John Millarkie, 54, of Lerwick, appeared in private today at Lerwick Sheriff Court on a petition alleging the offences. He made no plea or declaration and his case, before sheriff Philip Mann, was continued for further examination.
Mr Millarkie is expected to reappear in court a week today.
