Tomorrow’s scheduled sailing of the Northlink ferry Hjaltland to Kirkwall and Aberdeen has been pushed ahead to mid-day owing to bad weather.
Passenger and car check-in will open at 11:00am and will close at 11:30am. Estimated time of arrival in Kirkwall (Hatston Pier) is 9pm. The ship is then to sail from Kirkwall at 10pm and is estimated to arrive in Aberdeen at 7am on Thursday.
Hjaltland arrived in Aberdeen at 9:46am this morning and is scheduled to depart at 7pm sailing for Lerwick.
Northlink also warned that the Hrossay, due to sail for Aberdeen from Lerwick at 7pm tonight, might arrive in Aberdeen later than its scheduled 7am docking and passengers would be up-dated en-route.
Tomorrow’s scheduled sailings of the Hamnavoe on the Pentland Firth route at 4.45pm and 7pm were to be kept under review, according to Northlink.
