Seat is now a marginal (Robbie McGregor)

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Alistair Carmichael on his election as MP for Orkney and Shetland.

The margin of 817 votes has now given us the situation that Shetland is no longer a foregone conclusion for the Liberal Democrats and is now a marginal seat.

I thank everyone who voted SNP for their support and particularly pay tribute to Danus Skene and the SNP campaign team for their efforts in bring us so close to success.
