A call was received at 11.30am from the North Alwyn platform, 110 miles north east of Lerwick, to airlift a man with a suspected blood clot.

He was brought to Clickimin at 1.45pm before being taken to Gilbert Bain Hospital.

The helicopter was returning from a second call, at 4.45pm, which was received from a fishing vessel 150 miles north of Muckle Flugga to help a creelman who has injured his wrist.
