Total E&P UK Ltd, along with its project partner Dong Energy, is unlocking future energy reserves with its £3.3 billion Laggan-Tormore project. It is one of the largest UK oil and gas infrastructure projects in recent years, opening up a new frontier in offshore exploration and production. Raw gas will be transported to the newly-constructed Shetland Gas Plant, which will keep Shetland as a major contributor to the UK’s energy needs for years to come. We are seeking an individual who can help us protect this facility.

As such we provide the highest standards of training and support, recognised globally through-out the oil and gas industry. We will also facilitate additional training from Police Scotland and CPNI.

Due to the high importance of the contract, the successful candidate will have relevant prior experience, either within security, the emergency services, or having previously been at the forefront of client operations. Training (SIA, Police Scotland and CPNI) will be provided and funded.

Key responsibilities include:

● Managing a safe and secure plant, escalating problems and identifying solutions as appropriate to the relevant parties in line with agreed processes

● Create, review, administer and manage Risk Assessments (Security, Fire, Emergencies)

● Develop, maintain and present the Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.

● Identify and resolve performance issues in relation to service delivery

● Consult and support site management on security related risk and preventive measures.

● Effectively represent both G4S and Total in relationships with local management, employees, local authorities, Police and Government agencies and the general public

● Review and establish security requirements for all modifi cations to the facility or new construction, maintaining the Business Continuity PlanKey Competencies include:● Supervisory and/or managerial experience would be an advantage

● Personal drive and enthusiasm to motivate and inspire a team of Security Officers to consistently meet and frequently exceed the customers’ expectations

● Planning and organisational skills

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

● Good understanding of company policies and procedures

● You must be prepared to be flexible in your approach to working patterns and hours.
